Inception to Perfection: Making a Photo Book
Photoville Pavilion, in the Brooklyn Bridge Plaza, directly under the iconic bridge in DUMBO
Sunday, September 25 | 6:00PM – 6:45PM
Long-term photographic projects take fortitude, dedication, and sometimes, a silly degree of commitment and sacrifice. Daylight has gathered some of its new artists to discuss the various facets that go toward packaging photo projects into book form.
The panel will feature short presentations by Vincent Cianni, Patty Carroll, Barbara Kyne, Manuello Paganelli, and Mark Marchesi, followed by a discussion with Daylight’s Michael Itkoff and Ursula Damm about the specifics of creating a photo book: editing and sequencing, cover treatments, and other design considerations. A book signing follows the discussion.
